Bravent Folder Maker: Build a Saved Folder Setup on Windows

Create a saved folder setup on Windows, keep existing folders and files in place, then copy the most recent successful creation location.

New projects often begin with the same quiet chore: recreating the folders that keep the work easy to find. The names may already be decided. The structure may already be familiar. It still has to be built before the real work can begin.

Bravent Folder Maker keeps that step deliberately small. Version 0.3.1 brings two actions into Bravent Hub on Windows: Create My Folders and Copy Folder Address.

Create the folder setup you already know

Create My Folders turns a saved plan into the folder structure it describes.

Create My Folders builds the folder tree saved in the action. It keeps folders and files that already exist, so returning to the same location does not mean replacing what is already there.

Think of a new project that always begins with a familiar structure: a main folder, working files, exports, and delivery. The useful part is not inventing those names again. It is bringing the structure back when the project begins. Save the plan in the action, then use it when that setup is needed again.

Keep the next location ready to paste

After a successful folder setup, Copy Folder Address brings the latest creation location back within reach.

After a successful creation, Copy Folder Address copies the most recent successful creation location. Paste it into a note, a message, or the next app in the workflow without searching for the folder again.

The action stays specific. It copies the location from the successful creation; it does not introduce another search tool or a third folder action.

Open the first folder when it helps

When Open After Create is checked, the Explorer window used for creation navigates into the first top-level configured folder. The folder setup is created, and the first place to continue is already open.

Folder Maker prefers the foreground Explorer window. If another app is in front, its Windows helper can use the most recently used Explorer window.

Runs when you press the action

Folder Maker does not use a polling loop, recurring timer, watcher, or resident helper while idle. Work begins when an action is pressed.

That keeps the sequence easy to understand: save the folder plan, create it when a project begins, then copy the successful location when the next step needs it.

Built for Windows

Bravent Folder Maker v0.3.1 requires Windows 10 or later and Bravent Hub 2.9 or later. This version is Windows only; macOS and Finder are not supported.

If the same folder structure returns from project to project, Bravent Folder Maker gives that repeated setup a familiar place in Bravent Hub: one action to create it and one action to carry its location forward.
